Attico Il Gabbiano (Seagull Attic) is a super-attic (above the attic) apartment located at the 9th floor of a building on the beach. With its central location, in Follonica's pedestrian precinct and seafront, this tiny and cosy apartment has a spectaculous view on Follonica's Gulf, Elba Island and, when the view is clear, also on Montecristo Island. Moreover, there is no need of a car while staying since everything is close: the beach, the promenade, shops and all kinds of services, even the sky, with seagulls that fly close to their observer....
From the very large apartment terrace, one has the possibility of choosing to watch the gaily coloured and cheerful summer life without hearing its noise or, in a few seconds time, of having one's feet back to the 'ground' and join summer life

Il Gabbiano consists of a 25sqm apartment, recently rebuilt, equipped with a comfortable double bed, an armchair, a kitchenette, wooden table for 6 persons, bathroom with shower and TV. Its 80 sqm private terrace turns around the apartment for 270°, and grants its marbelous view of the sea and of the hills surrounding the gulf. The terrace is equipped with table (4 chairs), large sun-umbrella, two sun-beds and outside basin.
Services included in the apartment price: weekly linen and towels, final cleaning, use of gas and electricity.

Follonica, despite its 1970's urban development which led the town to a non-homogeneous architectural aspect, befits from a unique geographic location.
In the central part of its homonimous gulf, probably the most naturally protected sea waters of the Mediterranean Dock, Follonica benefits from a very clean sea, long clear beaches, free or with services with extremely thin sand and from the beautiful view of the Tuscan Islands Archipelago (Elba and Montecristo islands are the closest ones).
Its Mediterranean bush protects the other side of the town for several kms and enriches it with charming trekking trails. At the same time, Follonica enjoys its urban facilities that easly answer to any kind of need one could have during its summer holiday.
Follonica is particularly indicated for children needs, thanks to its big parks with kindergarten areas and to its safe, warm and never turbulent sea, that deepens very slowly.
In the summer period, a rich calendar of events gladdens Follonica's guests with cultural meetings, music concerts, sports events, shows and theatre displays.
Several excursions are also possible to Punta Ala (18kms), the spectaculous beach of Cala Violina (9km), Siena (80km), the Etruscan towns Populonia (15km) and Vetulonia (25km), Elba Island (1 h. boat) and much more destinations.
